If you contact us through this site
The form on this site asks for your name, your business name, your email address, how many locations you run and a short message. We store it so we can reply to you and so we know who we have spoken to. We do not add you to a marketing list and we do not sell or share it.
We also record the IP address and browser the message came from. That is only used to stop automated spam.
If you are a customer of a shop that uses iStampr
When you join a loyalty programme you give the shop your name and email address, and optionally your phone number and date of birth if they ask for it. We hold that on the shop’s behalf. We also record your visits to that shop, because that is what the stamps on your card are.
The shop you joined decides what happens with that information. If you want your data removed, ask them, or send us a request and we will pass it on and act on it. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.
Your loyalty card
The card itself lives in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet on your phone. To keep it up to date, Apple and Google are told that a pass has changed. They are not told what you bought.
We send email for things that happen to your account: a welcome message when you join a programme, a note when you earn a referral bonus, and password resets for shop staff. Shops can also send a message to their own customers.
Cookies and analytics
This marketing site uses PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see how the pages are used. Until you answer the banner it runs without cookies or any storage in your browser: each visit is counted under a hash that PostHog computes and discards, so we can see how many people reached the form, not who they were or whether they came back. Accepting lets PostHog set its cookies, so we can recognise a returning browser, and lets us record how the page is used, including what is typed into the contact form. Declining keeps the cookieless counting and nothing more. Your answer is remembered in your browser; clearing this site's data brings the banner back. We run no advertising trackers.
The shop-facing app stores a sign-in token and your theme and language choice in your browser, because it cannot work without them.
Keeping it
Enquiries are kept while we are still in contact and for a reasonable period after. Loyalty records are kept while the programme runs. Balances that have been inactive for a long time are zeroed automatically.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to [email protected] or use thesupport form, from the address we hold for you if you can, and say what you want done.
